Welcome to Formed In Fire Boutique, I am so glad you stopped by! My name is Michelle Mahre and I have been a drapery seamstress for 32 years and making glass beads for nearly ten. When I am not creating designer masterpieces, I work in various studios and gyms teaching Holy Yoga, Barre, BodyFlow, and Silver Sneakers. My business was located in my home in Colorado Springs. My husband Tom and I, along with our Anatolian Shepherd mix Sampson, just moved to East Tennessee.
This page was originally created almost 10 years ago when I first started making glass beads for jewelry. I have a stock supply of beads that I create and fire in my own kiln that are ready to be assembled into a jewelry collection of earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. But Formed in Fire Boutique is not just about glass beads anymore!
As time has evolved, I have added other items to my collection. Holy Yoga has become a very intricate part of my life as I have learned to become more centered and rooted in my Savior Jesus, so it only seemed natural to start creating yoga items that would help others explore the same passion. And because I love personal touches, I also create beautiful decorator pillows and hand bags. I offer many different designs and patterns to choose from, or you can pick through items that I have already created.
Much like seasons in life we all experience change and I am facing yet another one that I just recently found out about. One month ago I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Grade 3 Triple Negative breast cancer. Life has been moving incredibly fast ever since then. I have many, many months of chemo ahead of me before I have a bilateral mastectomy. So I have decided to slow down the craziness of my normal life and press into my creativity. It keeps me calm, clears my head, and gives me something to positively focus on while my treatments have my body feeling other ways. Your purchases through my boutique gives me mental clarity, supports me emotionally as well as financially. And I am so very grateful for your investment!
