The Hands Behind Every Stroke
FuBlessings began with a brush, a blessing, and a quiet belief: the most meaningful gifts are the ones written by hand.
The most meaningful gifts are the ones written by hand.
Our name carries the Chinese character "Fu" (福) — a word you'll find on doorways, red envelopes, and family altars across China. It means blessing, fortune, and happiness all at once. It's the feeling we want every customer to hold in their hands when they open our work.
Behind every piece is calligrapher Sun Lina, who has spent most of her life with ink on her fingers. A graduate of Shenzhen University's Fine Arts program, she has devoted years to mastering traditional Chinese script — especially Kaishu (regular script) and Xiao Kai (fine small-character calligraphy), two of the most disciplined and respected styles in Chinese art.
Her work has been recognized across China — selected for national exhibitions, awarded in major calligraphy competitions, and honored by leading Chinese calligraphy associations for her contribution to the art and to charity. But for Lina, titles aren't what matter most.
What matters is the moment someone opens her work — and feels it.
Every piece begins with your request. Our studio learns the story, the occasion, and the feeling you want to give. Lina then sits with that intention, grinds the ink, steadies her breath, and writes.
"Calligraphy is not just writing," she says. "It is a wish, held still on paper."
When you order from FuBlessings, you're not buying a product.
You're receiving a handwritten blessing — shaped slowly, carefully, and with someone specific in mind.
Thank you for letting us be part of your story. 🌿
