Personalised crochet cards and gifts for all occasions. Lovingly handmade to order.
For as long as I can remember, crafting has been my happy place.
I grew up in a very creative family and, as a child, I could always be found with colouring pencils and a sketching pad or yarn and a pair of knitting needles in my hands. As I got older, I started to make cards and jewellery for friends and family and was constantly told how unique and beautifully made my card and gifts were. It wasn't long before friends and family started to put orders in!
About 8 years ago, I started selling sketches and handmade die cut cards at my local tearooms, to great success, and when I decided to combine my love of crochet with my cardmaking skills, the cards really started to fly out of the door! My lovely customers were soon suggesting that I sell my cards and gifts on Etsy...so here I am...Hello!
I use 100% cotton yarn or mercerised cotton yarn in the majority of my crochet card making projects. In addition to being eco friendly, this keeps my crochet appliques very neat, with well defined stitches. Cotton yarn is soft to the touch but strong, so the recipient of your card will truly have a special keepsake that will last for years.
I take pride in the neatness and quality of my cards and particular care is taken in ensuring that new baby and children's cards are as robust as can be. Every little animal eye is either a button, which has been sewn on and adhered securely, or embroidered on for security.
My crochet earrings are made using cotton thread and a 1mm or 0.75mm crochet hook. Each earring is a piece a micro crochet art and I can often be found crocheting these items under a magnifying glass!
All cards can be personalised and I have recently taught myself braille so that I am able to personalise or add sentiments to my sensory crochet cards for loved ones with a visual impairment. I currently use the full alphabet but will be studying contracted braille in the very near future.
I hope you enjoy my cards as much as I enjoy making them!
