After 6 years away, my shop is finally back on Etsy. My passions in life are being a mother, grandmother, sewer, patchworker and jewelery maker.

In my little store you'll find lots of recycled and upcycled jewellery. I have added lots of colour this year to my recycled paper earrings. I make only one pair of each design to keep them unique and to keep my creative ideas flowing.

I have two Applique Quilt patterns in my shop as well. The 'Beauty Downunder' quilt pattern can be purchased in one digital download or as individual animal patterns. My 'Animals Alive' quilt is one downloadable pattern. Both quilt patterns are my own drawings and designs, and the quilts are hand sewn by me.

I look forward to bringing more applique patterns and recycled jewellery to everyone who likes to sew, make and create, or wear unique pieces of recycled art!

Creating is in my bones...

I opened my little Etsy store in 2017 but closed it in 2019 to go travelling before starting work in the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. What an experience!

I re-opened in 2025 after moving to Melbourne, and I'm so glad I did.
I have sewn, drawn, painted, built and created things my whole life. I can't get through a day without creating something...

For a lot of years my creativity bug was in the background of a hectic family life. Sewing children's clothes and toys, homemaking, gardening and cooking. Now that I'm single again and an empty nester, I can spend my free time outside of work, creating, making, sewing and of course playing with my grandchildren!

Recycling items is a definite passion of mine, whether its quilting and applique, sewing clothes, making jewellery, making stuffed toys or building fairy houses for my garden. I love the challenge of repurposing materials. My store has recycled jewellery made from recycling paper, and my patchwork patterns are made from scraps.
