HardwonCo Privacy Policy

This policy describes how and why I collect, use, and share your personal information when you buy from HardwonCo, and the rights you have over that information.

INFORMATION I COLLECT
To fill your order, I receive information from you through Etsy, such as your name, email address, and the order details needed to deliver your purchase. For digital downloads, no shipping address is needed. For physical sweatshirts, I also receive the shipping name, address, and order details needed to make and deliver the garment.

WHY I NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW I USE IT
I rely on your information to:
- Provide the products and support you have requested, including providing digital files, arranging production and shipping of physical items, and answering questions.
- Comply with legal obligations, such as tax and record keeping.
- Communicate with you about your order, for example to confirm a purchase or help with a file.
I do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing, and I follow Etsy's rules that prohibit using buyer information for that purpose.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
I share your information only where needed to complete your order or meet legal requirements:
- Etsy, as needed to operate my shop and comply with platform policies.
- The production and shipping partners who make and deliver physical items, and other service providers who help me run my business, limited to what their work requires.
- Authorities or other parties when required to comply with the law, respond to a lawful request, or protect my rights.

DATA RETENTION
I keep your information only as long as I need it to fill your order and meet my legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, I delete it.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU
I operate outside the European Union. If you live in the EU or EEA, your information will be transferred and processed outside that region. Where required, I rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information during that transfer.

YOUR RIGHTS
If you live in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access the information I hold about you, to ask me to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how I use it, and to request portability. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, message me through Etsy and I will respond as soon as I can.

HOW TO CONTACT ME
For any questions about this policy or your personal information, message me through Etsy and I will be glad to help.
