Made by a mother who has walked this road
Hi, I'm Niki. Harper's Hope Store is named after my daughter, Harper.
It's called Harper's Hope Store because Harper never ever gave up hope. Through three years of cancer treatment, she held on to it every single day. I want every family who finds this shop to feel a little of that hope too.
Harper passed away on October 31, 2025. Nothing prepares you for losing a child and no one hands you a map for what comes next. I remember sitting there thinking, I am grieving… now what?
Before this shop was a grief shop, it started with coloring pages for kids and siblings going through cancer. I wanted to make something small and gentle for families in the hardest season of their lives. After Harper passed away, that same wish came back in a new way.
I lead The Ugly Cry Club, a group for grieving mothers. Our motto is "Real tears. Real love." Every month I sit with moms who are carrying the unthinkable. And I kept getting messages from mothers everywhere who wanted that kind of support but lived too far away to come. That weighed on my heart. I wanted to find a way to be there for them too. I'm also a certified grief educator and coach.
So I did a TON of research, read book after book and brought it all together with the things we actually talk about in group. These include triggers no one else sees, the hurtful things people say without meaning to, guilt, anger, the hard dates and how to keep your child's memory close. The result is the I Am Grieving, Now What? workbook series. Each page is soft and simple, with plenty of room to write. It gives you permission to skip, stop, cry or come back later.
What makes these workbooks different
They're made by a grieving mom, not a company. Every page has been through real tears.
They're tested with real mothers in our group before they're sold.
They offer gentle, realistic steps, with no timelines, no "moving on" and no pressure.
They're spiritually inclusive. Faith prompts are offered, never assumed.
They're instant digital downloads in US Letter and A4, with a printer-friendly low-ink version included.
The Mothers Edition came first. Now there are editions for dads, grandparents and siblings of every age, because grief touches the whole family.
If you're here because your heart is broken, I'm so sorry. You aren't alone and there's no right way to do this. If you're here for someone you love, thank you for showing up for them. That matters more than you know.
Say their name. Write their story. Take it one page at a time.
Why every price ends in .55
55 was Harper's jersey number in volleyball and basketball. Every price in my shop ends in .55, so a little piece of her goes with every order.

Disclaimer: I'm glad to be a gentle place on hard days. A grief counselor or your group can give you things I can't. If you don't have one, the Compassionate Friends (for bereaved parents) or Camp Rainbow Gold's family support are good places to ask.
