My name is Meghan and I am a mom of three (2 human little girls, and 1 four legged one!) from New Jersey. I began casually refinishing furniture in 2011 and rockers for family in 2019. Some may say I inherited the "handy" gene--my great grandfather started his plumbing business in New Jersey in 1892! I have always had a creative brain, been into the arts, and believe in the power of doing things yourself! Refinishing gives me both a sense of pride and a creative outlet to express and destress

I have a thing for the old and forgotten, and a fond appreciation for the stories that go along with them. My daughters have the esteemed pleasure of naming each rocker I refinish, and each tag indicates where each rocker originally hailed from. With a background in the field of environmental science, I would like to think I am lessening the landfills with each project I complete.
