3 out of 5 starsThis was a pattern. If you weren't experienced some of the instructions were missing. Did not tell you what color to start with. I could "fill" in those places but a beginner would have trouble.

sorry that you found the pattern confusing. it is always my intention to make them as clear as possible. I understand that you did message me and I do say I would get in touch when my partner was back, and unfortunately I didn’t communicate he was away u too after Christmas and I apologise for this.

2 out of 5 starsI used the suggested yarn and hook size and the stocking came out very oddly proportioned. The instructions were easy to understand, but the end product does not turn out anything like the picture the seller has for the pattern. I spent a lot of time staying up late to make this for my daughter’s first Christmas and will now have to purchase more yarn to make a different stocking.

1 out of 5 starsI’m upset I didn’t realize this was AI until after I had started and could figure out how the cuff and stocking were joined together. Any actual pattern would tell you more than “work into the sides of the cuff rows” to join the two together. Don’t buy.

sorry you found the pattern challenging and I would have hoped you would have got in touch with me beforehand and I would have happily given you support. as you may see from previous reviews, many have found this pattern easy to follow and were able to make a beautiful Christmas stocking.
