I am new to slinging, but it is npt hard to tell quality when you see, and/or handle something even if it's new to you. Matt did an outstanding job on my sling, and custom crafted it to my desired color, length, and leather combinations, and got it to me promptly. I had hoped it would make me a professional right off the bat, (just kidding of course) but in his honesty I was informed that this would take much practice... He is very helpful, and welcomes communications which made it a pleasure doing business with him. Thanks again for the great sling Matt!!! Kenny

Matthew Nelson the owner and Sling Designer from HuntsmanSlings in my opinion is the best maker of Balearic aka (Split Pouch) Slings. He custom made me a high quality black Balearic sling with tan deer leather and a red Dacron whip, see attached actual photo. I own over a dozen different types of slings. The sling Matt made for me is my absolute favorite. It performs extremely well with a wonderful cracking from the Dacron whip. I use the side arm technique for accuracy. Matt delivers excellent customer service including the best USA handmade Balearic sling that you can buy on the internet. If you want the best sling around buy it from Matt the high quality sling will last for years with proper care.
