Kate Ives is a traditionally trained artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her artistic journey has been enriched by her experiences living in Thailand, Singapore, England, and the US, with each location leaving its mark on her work. Kate’s versatility shines through in her use of mediums such as watercolor, gouache, acrylic, digital, and oil.
Kate’s work is presently on exhibit in several locations in northern Vermont, including the von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort, Citizen Cider, and Rock Art. For most of 2025, a collection of her art was on tour in Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
The world’s premier producer of paint for professional artists, Holbein, is a sponsor of Kate and was integral in a recent project with a professional sports family from the National Hockey League (NHL). Collectors have purchased Kate’s art for their homes across the US, Canada, and Europe.
