Laura J Designs is a small female owned and operated business located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Since 2002, we at Laura J have been striving to create only the highest quality products for our clients. With a unique blend of feminine, edgy, delicate, yet bold designs- our acute attention to detail and high quality gemstones are what keeps out customers returning to us over and over again. Each of our components is completely hand fabricated beginning with sheet metal and wire which is then hand cut, soldered, forged, and polished. Every piece of jewelry is created with sterling silver and 14k gold filled metals, then accented with the finest genuine semi-precious gemstones available. Our line is carried in over 150 upscale gift shops, galleries, boutiques, museum shops, and catalogs across the nation.

Laura began her jewelry training in Boulder, CO apprenticing for designer Carla Morrison. She took naturally to the medium and perfected her skills in a jewelry repair shop before branching off and starting her own business in 2002.
Melissa Salmon

Partner, Designer

Melissa began designing jewelry as a teenager while exploring art therapy. She began working at a local bead shop where she honed numerous skills and taught many classes before teaming up with Laura J in 2014.
