Travel brick building kits and custom gifts
I became obsessed with LEGO® after having kids. A couple years ago, when we went on a long road trip, I made a couple of travel LEGO® kits in empty Altoids tins with baseplates glued on their lids. We met up with friends and they liked the little kits so well, I started thinking about making some and putting them on Etsy.
But I didn't want to have to buy tins, so I started thinking about how to create a travel building kit completely out of LEGO® parts. The box would fold flat and serve as a baseplate on which to build. I came up with a design, refined it, and refined it some more.
Then the pandemic hit and our schools closed and I put my plans for an online shop on hold. But I didn't stop tinkering. And I came up with a completely different design for a compact travel box that slides together instead of folding up.
I also started making custom gifts from LEGO® pieces for friends and family.
My obsession continues to grow and I look forward to sharing my obsession with you. Visit my website for examples of custom pieces I've done.
