El arte en sus diversas formas y procesos creativos siempre me ha fascinado más que cualquier otra cosa. Estudié Historia del Arte en la universidad y el dibujo / pintura es mi pasatiempo querido. Mi amor adicional por las piedras naturales y el cristal brillante me atrajo hacia la fabricación de joyas.
A veces hago joyas simples donde la pieza principal puede brillar (a menudo literalmente) sin distracciones. Esas son piezas de cristal imaginadas para combinar con un estilo o atuendo, liviano tanto en su naturaleza como en su apariencia.
Otras veces mi objetivo es crear una pieza de talismán que sea más única y complicada y que, espero, se conecte con su propietario en un nivel más profundo: para tales piezas prefiero usar piedras naturales y minerales cortados en bruto. Esas piezas son más orgánicas y boho en su naturaleza.
También me gusta experimentar. He hecho abalorios y estampado de metal en el pasado. Tengo nuevas técnicas en mente para probar en 2014, lo que trae mucha emoción y vierte ideas frescas en mi rutina de trabajo.
Art in its various forms and creative processes have always fascinated me more than anything else. I studied History of Art in university and drawing/painting is my beloved hobby. My additional love for natural stones and glittery crystal drew me towards jewelry making.
Sometimes I make simple jewelry where the main piece can shine (often quite literally) without any distractions. Those are crystal pieces imagined to match a style or outfit, light weight both in their nature and their appearance.
Other times my goal is to create a talisman piece that is more unique and complicated and that, I hope, would connect with its owner on deeper level - for such pieces I prefer to use roughly cut natural stones and minerals. Those pieces are more organic and bohemian in their nature.
I also like to experiment. I have done beading and metal stamping in the past. I have new techniques in mind to try in 2014, which brings much excitement and pours fresh ideas into my working routine.
