We're twin sisters Kristi and Kelli of LollyJane.com. So glad you've landed on our about page, here is our story:
Back in 2007 when Kelli was in her early days of motherhood, her hubby became a police officer and took a HUGE pay cut. She wanted to continue to stay home with her little ones but needed a way to bring a little to the table... her husband encouraged her to buy a vinyl lettering cutter and voila: Lolly Jane was born. Within 6 months, she enlisted her twin Kristi's help and started LollyJane.com as a way to share their designs available online and local craft nights. We soon picked up business when DIY blogs were starting to pop up so continued to sell vinyl and signs online as well as sharing home decor ideas on our blog.
Within a couple of years we stopped selling custom creations and focused more on our blog since it was less manual labor and the blessing of the income matched our sign making business.
Fast forward to 2021, we still love creating new designs and decided to re-open our sign business. Our kids are all now in school which allows for creative time for the day and we pay some of our older kiddos to help us paint when they need extra money. It's been such a fun journey the past 11 years to see where creativity + blogging have taken us!
