The creator behind Lore In Layers ✨
I started 3D modelling and printing as a hobby — and before long, I was completely hooked. What began with small 3D printing experiments quickly turned into a passion for creating fun, unique, and geeky jewellery (and other 3D printed bits I couldn’t find anywhere else!).
💫 From Hobby to Lore In Layers
Lore In Layers was born from that passion — a place where creativity meets a love for fandoms, colour, and fun. Whether it’s a bold statement earring or a tiny way to express who you are, I create each item with care and attention to detail.
🖤 All items are designed, modelled, and 3D printed in-house by me, and I’m always experimenting with new ideas, materials, and techniques. Every item you see in the shop was made from scratch, from the design of the model right through to packing it for shipping.
🌿 Thoughtful Materials
I 3D print most of my jewellery using PLA (Polylactic Acid) — a plant-based bioplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane. PLA is a more eco-conscious alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics, offering a lower carbon footprint and safer production process. While PLA is not biodegradable at home, it is compostable in industrial settings but reflects a step toward more sustainable materials in small-scale making.
