Welcome to my little corner of Etsy; I hope you like the stuff I have made specifically for you. I have absolutely loved being able to created the pieces in my shop, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to use the talents God has given me to bring glory to His name. I would greatly appreciate if you would give a moment of your time to read the purpose behind what it is I am doing here. Thank you!

For the last few years, God has really laid on my heart a call to bring His light into the darkness of the pornography industry. This is an issue that is so huge in the world today, and yet is so scarcely talked about. I have felt the Lord leading me to try to make a difference in the world by helping broken people find forgiveness, healing, hope, and ultimately new life through Jesus... I hope to help others find the freedom from sexual sin that Jesus offers. With the pornography industry being such a huge thing for one person to tackle, I often have felt discouraged. However, the incredible thing is...God is so much bigger than the pornography industry, and He is so much bigger than any sins we struggle with. It is only by the grace of God that I might be able to help make a difference. He has done incredibly more for me than I ever could deserve, and He desires so much for us to experience something better than lives of sin. I've had this dream in the back of my mind as something I want to do, but I've never been quite sure as to how to go about making that dream a reality. That is until now...

This past summer, before beginning my freshman year of college, I began to take up the hobby of painting. It is something I have absolutely fallen in love with over the past couple of months. I love being able to take bits of truth from Scripture and incorporate it as part of what I paint. Creating colorful, pretty, yet raw and real pieces that can remind people of who Jesus is & who they are in Him fills me with joy and excitement. As I have faced trying to connect this calling I have felt to help people who are hurting find Jesus in with my new love for painting, I have come to the decision to open up this shop. I will be listing things that I paint, and once they have been purchased I will be giving 50% of everything I make to the Christian organization XXXchurch. This ministry helps shine light into the pornography industry by reaching out to people in the middle of their brokenness just as Jesus would. I can not wait to be a little part of what this organization is doing to make a difference, and it would mean so much to me if you'd join me on this journey. The idea behind the name of my shop is from the truth that God meets us where we are...when we are lost, sinful, and broken...He pulls us out of our messes time and time again and pursues us. In Him we are found.

The peace the Lord has given to me on this decision energizes me, and my hope and prayer as I take these next steps is that somewhere along the way someone's life will be made different...whether that is through a painting I make or the money that is raised. Jesus is so good, and I hope to honor Him & let that truth be seen in all I do moving forward with this new opportunity.
