Some games find you at exactly the right moment.
Mahjong found me not long ago, and I was instantly obsessed. The tiles, the ritual of it, the satisfying clatter of a fresh wall. I went looking for goods that matched how the game felt to me: a little dark, a little beautiful, a little like something you'd find in a very interesting antique shop.
They didn't exist. So I made them.
Mahjong Mortis was born out of that gap, a place for players who love the game deeply and also happen to appreciate the macabre. The gothic. The delightfully grim. You know who you are.
Everything here is designed with care for people who take their tile games seriously and their aesthetics even more so. Stickers for your water bottle and your soul. Scorecards that make the table feel like a séance. And something bigger is on its way, but that's a secret for now. 🖤
I'm Louise, creating from the shadow of the old mountains in Asheville, NC, where the fog rolls in early and the atmosphere practically does the work for you.
Welcome to the table. The West Wind has been waiting.
