Tools for a More Intentional You
Maintenance is part of the process.
Maintenance Dept. started with a simple idea: the things that matter in our lives rarely stay healthy because we got them right once.
Relationships need attention. Our thinking needs examination. Habits need adjustment. Creativity needs practice. Sometimes we need to stop, look at what's happening beneath the surface, and ask ourselves better questions.
I'm not a therapist or mental health professional. I'm simply someone who became deeply interested in philosophy, relationships, self-reflection, communication, creativity, and the complicated business of being human.
Over the years, I've found enormous value in Stoic philosophy, journaling, reflection, creative practice, and learning to question my own thoughts instead of automatically believing them. Maintenance Dept. grew from that process.
Here you'll find worksheets, journals, reflection prompts, conversation tools, and other resources designed to help you slow down, get curious, and dig a little deeper.
These aren't diagnoses or treatments, and they aren't replacements for qualified professional care. Think of them as tools: something you can use independently, bring into a meaningful conversation, or even use alongside work you're already doing with a professional.
There is no finished version of us waiting somewhere down the road.
We are always becoming, always making a choice to grow. Maintenance is part of the process.
Welcome to the Dept.
