4 out of 5 starsI'm a beginner at sewing, and for my first patterned garment it turned out well; however, the way the instructions for sewing the zipper are written isn't the easiest to understand.

5 out of 5 starsthe pattern and directions are pretty good. if you have a vast difference btw your waist and hip ratios you may benefit more from pants with a zippered waist, bc the amount i needed to taper in from the hips (to the waist) - makes the elastic waist almost impossible to get on and off. so just something to keep in mind. also making these, i realized i am a "hard" pants girlie... i need bottom weight fabric so i dont feel like i have on pjs or going to the beach LOL. all personal preference. i would recommend for a person with more of a straight frame, or measurements (as is the lady on the thumbnail photo) that are within the same sizing bracket or only one off (for easier grading). otherwise, it was a pretty good experience. namaste!!

5 out of 5 starsPattern was super easy to follow - coming from someone who had not touched a machine in 15 years . Hardest part was printing and taping the pattern together (first time using a PDF home print pattern) spent more time doing that than cutting fabric and sewing . I added more room to waist band second time for higher waist, def a low/mid rise ** edited review - note the button holes are indeed clearly marked on the pattern and I simply missed them when printing and cutting onto fabric to mark out myself .

5 out of 5 starsI made this dress for my sister-in-law, and it is without a doubt the most beautiful dress I've ever made. The pattern was very easy to follow, with clear instructions throughout. She is a couple of sizes smaller than I am, but I was actually able to try it on myself as well. I’m definitely planning to make one for myself too, probably in a slightly larger size, just to be on the safe side. Highly recommended!
