Hi, I'm Max!
I’m a professional graphic designer who loves creating polished games that are simple to set up and fun to play. Max Makes Games may be new to Etsy, but the work behind it isn’t—and I’m excited to share it here.
After more than 15 years of working in PowerPoint, I began exploring how far I could push it beyond traditional presentations—and discovered an unexpectedly powerful platform for building interactive games.
Each game is designed, built, tested, and refined by me—from the overall visual experience and gameplay to the smallest buttons, animations, and interactions.
I enjoy solving the little frustrations people shouldn’t have to think about, so hosts can spend less time managing the game and more time enjoying it with everyone else.
I believe there is real value in work that feels thoughtful and personal. Every product begins with curiosity, develops through experimentation, and is shaped by a genuine love of good design.
I also believe good design should invite more people in, not leave them out. Whenever possible, I build accessibility and usability into my games—from improving readability to adding features that help more people participate confidently and enjoy the experience. Everyone’s needs are different, and I see accessibility as an ongoing part of good design, not a box to check.
Because at the heart of every game is something much simpler: bringing people together.
Whether coworkers are laughing during a team event, students are eager to raise their hands, or families are gathered around the TV for game night, my goal is to create experiences that help people connect, participate, and make lasting memories.
