Our Story
Early 1960s, It all started with our grandfather a craftsmen(Karigar) who used to do hand embroidery on Pashmina Shawls. With time he became an expert in his field, An Ustaad (Master Artist). He made his own designs which became quite popular at that time. Later in 1990s my father entered this field and together with my grandfather took innovative decision by redefining Kashmiri Art and introducing Kashmiri hand embroidery on Saree and Suit Dupattas. With some initial backlogs soon it started to grow and later our Sarees and Suit Dupattas became a success. Our designs and color matching were very unique which made our products(Shawls, Sarees and Suit Dupattas) entirely different from those available in the market. Soon people started to reciprocate our designs on their products and as a result made our uniqueness to ordinary. But with the creative and artistic mind of my father we made new designs and new color matchings which turned out more beautiful and attractive.
In discussion on the growth in the textile sector, hand embroidery rarely finds a place as a result we are the only manufacturer of hand embroidered exquisite Kashmiri Sarees and Suit dupattas. We are doing our best to preserve this dying craft.
