Hello! I am Mihaela, the creator of Michellecrocheting / Michelle's Creations. I am currently based in Nottinghamshire, UK, and my business is mostly run online through Etsy, Numonday and eBay.
I come from the very serious capitalistic world, from the money-making, revenue increasing, profit maximizing and target-attaining machinery. It took a while, but thankfully I realised this wasn’t what I wanted for my life. I thrive in simplicity, surrounded by peace and tranquillity. I find inspiration in the natural wonders and my work is nothing more than just an ode to natural lore. I have created an oasis of love and positive energy away from the “busy society”, and this is where I found the sense of being alive, of meaning, and of creativity. I came to the conclusion that our purpose as humans on this planet is to be a good thread in the infinite web of information, and this is why I have chosen to do something that makes me happy, so I can be a line of hope in a picture of doomsday and decay.
My art carries this precise message – giving a sparkle of magic away with each creation, spreading positive energy in as many corners of the world as possible. With each piece of work created, I feel I am giving back to the world as a thanks for my skill and ability to create it in the first place. I am truly blessed to have the conditions to manifest my art, and I am grateful to share with a beautiful community a piece of my soul.
