The bag was exactly what I expected. I like the fact that it included directions to get rid of any wrinkles as a result of shipping. What made me do this??

When I couldn't find the "perfect" project bag, I started to experiment. With input from my knitting and embroidery friends, MidMitten Designs was born in mid-2016 and continues to grow.

I'm a Becky Home Ec-y from WAY back -- I taught clothing construction and sewing skills in my first 8 years out of college as an Extension Home Economist. I'm persnickety: the inside has to be as nice as the outside, so everything in my project bags is finished, bound, lined, etc. Zippers are finished so they don't catch fibers.

Everything you see here was made by me or my expert bag maker friend and assistant Laurie in our home studios. Our homes are pet friendly and non-smoking.

MidMitten Designs was created because I couldn't find the kind of project bag I liked. I started experimenting and came up with some really cool designs (thanks to some great knitter and cross stitching friends).
