How I became a board game organizer designer....
Hello dear enthusiastic board game fans who want to bring order to the chaos of their board games!
My name is Gerd and I am the one behind MrFlessDesign.
It all started in 2017 when some new purchases of board games brought to my attention that you could implement a unique idea at low cost to spruce up your own board game in terms of organization, faster setup and breakdown.
At that time, I had looked at various solutions and then decided on the variant of lightweight foam boards (Foamcore), because they could be easily and precisely processed but still form a good protection for the board game components.
I started with the board games "The Legends of Andor", "Robinson Crusoe" and "Gloomhaven".
I then thought of putting these ideas into a few videos and uploading them to my Youtube channel, as well as doing some advertising for them on the board game platform "BoardGameGeek".
My designs were very well received by many boardgamers and many asked me how they could replicate these designs. Often the question came if I had any sketches / blueprints about it.
At the end of 2017, I started to develop blueprints - at first in German only - but shortly after in English as well, since many boardgamers all over the world are enthusiastic about my designs.
In the last 6 years I have created organizer designs for various boardgames, which I have collected here on this platform.
In the past time already over 2,000 enthusiastic hobbyists have contacted me, who would like to build such an organizer with the help of my construction plans.
And now since 2021 there is officially this store under my newly founded company "MrFlessDesign".
I hope I won't run out of ideas for the development of new organizers and there will be many new designs for different board games to be found here.
