This is an excellent collection of fun patterns that work up exactly as the photos show, yay! I own multiple patterns/collections from this designer and have made a half dozen or so of the projects. All are well written, turn out as anticipated and are loved by the recipient. I've swapped out different yarns and have had excellent results, all in all, this is a worthwhile purchase and I look forward to adding new patterns from this designer to my collection of patterns I will actually, and do, make.

I have only made the kiwi, penguin and kakapo so far, but they have turned out so cute! I have never done amigurumi before but the patterns are very easy to follow (along with some help from youtube videos). The feet are a bit fiddly, but the birds even look cute without the feet :)

As someone who works closely with birds in my professional career, I have a deep appreciation for their beauty and individuality and this is something I aim to reflect into my every pattern!

I aim to keep patterns realistic but still simple, so they are accessible to every crochet level.
