As a passionate insect researcher (entomologist), I specialize in exploring the beauty of nature using modern technology such as computed tomography and electron microscopy. In my shop you will find a changing selection of unique 3D prints and laser engravings of objects and drawings from nature.
Almost 10 years ago, when I built my own 3D printer, I started to print objects from nature that I had previously characterized in computer tomographs and electron microscopes. When a laser was added a few years ago, I was able to begin to depict the fascinating 2D illustrations from old but excellent literature on cork and wood. Then, with the 3D scanner I built in 2022, I was also able to capture the amazing details of nature at home and turn them into high-quality 3D models. It was like a new world opened up before me and I was fascinated by the possibilities that came out of it.
With my fascination for illustrations and models in 2D and 3D, I started to transform my digital artworks of nature into physical forms. Every 3D print and laser engraving in my shop is the result of a careful selection of objects and drawings from nature and literature.

Als leidenschaftlicher Insektenforscher (Entomologe) habe ich mich darauf spezialisiert, die Schönheit der Natur mit moderner Technologie wie Computertomographie und Elektronenmikroskopie zu erkunden. Es war wie eine neue Welt, die sich vor mir auftat, und ich war fasziniert von den Möglichkeiten, die sich daraus ergaben.
Mit meiner Faszination für Illustrationen und Modelle in 2D und 3D begann ich, meine digitalen Kunstwerke der Natur in physische Formen zu verwandeln.
