The alligator clip didn't work out for my purposes, but they were easy to slide right out and I slid a couple of regular hair bands in and they did the trick (not a knock on the seller's part - I didn't communicate that I wanted bands and the description said alligator clips!). Here's a picture of my Build-A-Bear Kuromi wearing her new bows! Thank you so much! :3
