What is 'On Bird Time'
When you live "On Bird Time," you aren't ruled by your phone, your alarm clock, or office calendar. Instead you flow with the seasons, the temperature, how many hours of daylight there are. In your heart, you move from north to south, east to west, following the migratory patterns of your favorite birds, and catching the winds that carry them across the globe.
I am a lifelong birder and I know it's spring by the warblers passing through, summer doesn't start for me until the first osprey has landed on the coast, fall is when the raptors migrate, and winter, my favorite season, coincides with the arrival of unique and wonderful waterfowl visiting from their arctic habitat. And this beautiful way of tracking time and marking the years is a treasured way of living that only birders and nature lovers truly understand.
My etsy store has been around for a while. It started as a place to sell my handmade pottery, but it has now evolved into a place where I can explore my greatest passions- nature and birds. I design and draw all of the artwork on this site, often using photo references from my own bird photography. I do not use AI and all buttons and cards are printed and assembled in my home studio.
