My little shop started after trying to think of a fun and unique handmade gift for a friend’s new baby. I love “rescuing” and repurposing garments from thrift stores and the back of my closet, so with an old leather coat in hand, I began designing my first pair of moccasins. I love love love the process of creating something start to finish and am so lucky to get to do that with every pair of little shoes that I make.

I chose the name of my shop because as I was growing up, my family went everywhere on foot. We lived in a small town and walked to school, to the library, and to the post office to get our mail every day. I live in a bigger city now, but my husband and I still try to walk every place we can. We love walking to the grocery store, the park, and even to the zoo! I hope my shoes help you little ones get wherever they need to go “on foot. “
