Durante el confinamiento por la pandemia, empecé a vaciar mis armarios y trasteros como todo el mundo... cuando me encontré con una caja de bolsos que me habían regalado o que había usado, pero que había olvidado al mudarme y que guardé en un rincón del trastero. Mientras los revisaba, me di cuenta de que estos bolsos (incluso los sin marca) eran de mucha mejor calidad que los que se fabricaban actualmente.
Como nieta de dos zapateros (en serio, ¿qué más da?) e hija de un fontanero, siempre he hecho bricolaje y proyectos. Así que fue entonces cuando decidí limpiar y reparar algunos de estos bolsos y devolverles su belleza original (¡o lo más parecida posible!). Lo que empezó como un hobby, ¡ahora quiero compartir con el mundo estas piezas clásicas!
During the pandemic lockdown, I began clearing out my closets and storage like everyone else... when I came across a box of purses that people had given me as gifts or hand-me-downs that I had forgotten about when I moved and shoved in a corner of the storage. As I was going through them, I noticed that these purses (even the unbranded ones) were so much nicer in quality than what was being produced currently.
As the granddaughter of two cobblers (seriously - what are the odds of that?!?) and the daughter of a plumber, I've always done DIY and "project pieces". So that's when I decided to clean/repair some of these purses and restore them to their original beauty (or as close as I could get!). What started as a hobby for myself, I now want to share with the world these classic pieces!
