In ihrem Produktionslabor im touristischen Dorf Leptokarya in der Nähe der Ägäis und unter dem Olymp in Griechenland fertigen und drucken die beiden alle ihre Angebote in ihrem Geschäft von Hand. Das Unternehmen fand heraus, dass es in Athen begann, kurz nachdem die lokale psychedelische Szene 2001 zu sprudeln begann. Die Idee für Paul war es, einen Psy-Shop zu schaffen, "für alle Elfen und Feen, um magische Dinge zum Anziehen zu finden" und ein Ventil für die Verbindung innerhalb der psychedelischen Kultur zu schaffen. Als die Vision 2004 zu einem unmittelbar bevorstehenden Traum heranwuchs, verließ er die Stadt, um ein Geschäft zu eröffnen, das mehr im Einklang mit der Natur stand. Nachdem er sich in Leptokarya niedergelassen hatte, traf Paul Elena, die einen Hintergrund in Modestudien und eine Liebe für die Herstellung von handgefertigter Kleidung und Accessoires hatte, in die Partnerschaft eintraten, die den Namen "Druid" annahm, inspiriert von einer Erfahrung beim Rainbow Gathering 1997 in Griechenland und die Magie begann mit Elena, die Artikel nähte und Paul mit Drucken fertigstellte. Mit Musen, die von psychedelischen und ethnischen Kulturen bis hin zu Mutter Natur reichen, strebt Druid danach, handgefertigte Kleidung mit Umweltbewusstsein zu einer prominenteren Praxis in der modernen Mode zu machen.
Fabricating from their production laboratory in touristic village Leptokarya near the Aegean sea and under Mount Olympus in Greece, the pair hand make and print all their offerings in their shop. The company found it’s beginning in Athens right after the local psychedelic scene began bubbling in 2001. The idea for Paul was to make a psy shop ‘for all the elves and faeries to find magical things to wear’ and to create an outlet for connection within the psychedelic culture. As the vision grew to a more imminent dream in 2004, he left the city to open a shop that was more in tune with nature. After making his home in Leptokarya, Paul met Elena who had a background in fashion studies and a love for making handmade clothing and accessories into the partnership they adopted the name “Druid” inspired from an experience at 1997’s Rainbow Gathering in Greece and the magic began with Elena sewing items and Paul finishing with prints. With muses ranging from psychedelic and ethnic cultures to mother nature, Druid aspires to make handmade clothing with environmental awareness a more prominent practice in modern fashion
