Why are the prints so expensive
A.
1- A single painting can take a month or more. If you look closely you will notice detailing like fur being painted hair by hair.
2- The prints are premium polished acrylic
3- The artist will paint over top of the print with non-digital acrylic paints, making it a unique one of one.
4- Once the print is purchased from this shop it will go out of stock permanently
5- Panyck is a multiple award winning artist
Are the images Ai?
A.
No, the images are hand painted digitally, primarily using the program ibisPaint. They take many days to produce, sometimes as much as a month or more. If you want proof that these are not Ai generated, you can find Panyck on the ibisPaint website where he keeps many of his speed paint videos.
In addition, each print from this page will be painted over with non-digital acrylic paints. This combination is what makes the prints unique and difficult to make. The painting you receive will be literally impossible to perfectly reproduce.
Does the same non-digital acrylic overpaint and one of one status also apply to Panyck Merch?

No, only the prints made by pictorem will have Panyck hand painting over top of them. Anything made by zazzle or other companies will not apply.
If I purchase a one of one print does that mean that no other prints will ever be made of my painting?
A.
1- No other prints will be made through pictorem by Panyck.
2- No other prints will be painted over with non-digital acrylic paints by Panyck.

I love Panyck’s art, but it’s too expensive.

You also might consider the “Panyck Merch” section of our shop, which has various objects with Panyck’s work printed on it.
Why are the “For Kids” paintings so expensive? Kids can’t afford that.

It is not labeled “For Kids” because it is for children to purchase. Rather, the subject matter is child-like. Perhaps a parent might want to purchase a 1 of 1 Panyck painting for their child. Of course, an adult may also want the painting for themselves. Either way, this shop caters to adults exclusively.
How long until my painting is sent?
A.
We try for a few weeks to a month. However, it’s impossible to know exactly. These paintings are made to order. We first have to order a special print, and there’s no way to know precisely how long that will take to get to us. The acrylic over-paint process also has no exact amount of time associated with it.
We’ll do our best to get it done and shipped to you in a reasonable amount of time.
The Panyck Merch section is also a bit expensive, why is that?

The items all serve a secondary purpose, which is to be much cheaper prints of Panyck’s paintings.
