cute top, easy to sew.

Great pattern, side pieces are about 2-3” too long. Easy pattern to follow, I chose to do an internal drawstring rather than the punched out grommets.

For a girl who doesn't sew, this pattern was so easy to follow. I'm thrilled with the results. I will definitely purchase from this pattern designer again.

Love the shape of the purse, and the grommets make it very easy to add a strap. I really wish the pattern had included an option for a lining.

It was a good pattern! The instructions were easy and good to understand.

I am on a confident beginner/ intermediate level. I've had much better results with much more sophisticated garments with better pattern & instructions. This came out ok, but not as nice as it could have been. According my measurements, size 8 should fit me perfectly, but the end result is reaaally roomy for me. I would (not) recommend this pattern: Beginner: You should probably not start your sewing journey with this pattern, because IMHO you will have a hard time to get a clean, nice result. Advanced: You will not need this pattern, you can follow the Youtube tutorial, and make the size up/ modification yourself. Somewhere in between (a.k.a. You can not draft your own pattern, but you think you can manage the pattern adaptations): well, if you really like this, it might be worth a try. Good luck with it!

I just finished the backpack today. I made it out of faux leather and it worked great. The measurements of the side pieces were slightly too long but that was no problem, I just trimmed them after attaching them to the body. It turned out great and I would recommend it.
