He vivido en la costa central de Nueva Gales del Sur en Australia toda mi vida. Vengo de una familia extremadamente crafy y desde el momento en que pude recoger una aguja he estado haciendo algún tipo de manualidad u otra.
He estado haciendo ganchillo desde que era un niño, mi abuela me enseñó cuando tenía 7 años.
Tuve a mi hermoso hijo en 2003, tiene autismo y graves discapacidades de salud mental.
Conocí a mi increíble esposa y hijastra en 2012 y nos casamos en 2013 y seguimos siendo fuertes.
A finales de 2016, mientras estaba detenido en el semáforo en rojo, otro automóvil se estrelló contra el mío a más de 70 kmh. Esto resultó en que mi columna vertebral se herniara en 4 lugares y perdiera el uso de mis piernas. He tenido 1 cirugía hasta ahora, que fue un éxito parcial y gracias a la rehabilitación intensiva puedo caminar de nuevo con un bastón. Pero me quedo con dolor crónico e incapaz de sentir la mitad inferior de ambas piernas.
Fue en este momento de mi vida que tomé el ganchillo a tiempo completo para mantenerme ocupado y no volverme loco por no poder trabajar, hice mi primer graphgan al comienzo de mi lesión y me enamoré de ellos, así que comencé a diseñar el mío propio para hacer para amigos y familiares. Así es como llegué a empezar a vender. Mi familia me animó a editar mis diseños y ponerlos en forma de patrón para vender y vender mis proyectos terminados y artículos que he hecho y, como dicen, el resto es historia.

I’ve lived on the Central Coast of NSW in Australia all of my life. I come from an extremely crafy family and from the time I could pick up a needle I’ve been doing some form of craft or another.
I’ve been crocheting since I was a kid, my grandmother taught me when I was 7 years old.
I had my beautiful son in 2003 he has autism and severe mental health disabilities.
I met my amazing wife and step daughter in 2012 and we were married in 2013 and still going strong.
In late 2016 whilst stopped at red light another car crashed into mine at over 70kmh. This resulted in my spine herniating in 4 places and losing the use of my legs. I’ve had 1 surgery so far which was a partial success and thanks to intensive rehabilitation I can walk again with a walking stick. But I'm left in chronic pain and unable to feel the lower half of both legs.
It was at this point in my life that I took crocheting up full time to keep me busy and not go insane from being unable to work, I did my first ever graphgan at the beginning of my injury and fell in love with them, so started designing my own to make for friends and family. That’s how I came to start selling. My family encouraged me to edit my designs and put them into pattern form to sell and sell my finished projects and items I've made and as they say the rest is history.
