I fell in love with textiles as a child in rural Italy

I’ve loved textiles as long as I can remember. I was born just outside of Rome immigrating to Canada & then the US.
Textiles have been part of my life throughout my various journeys. A long time love for patterns, textures & colors. My background is in art & design.
After many years of collecting I was encouraged to share my finds via the Ebay platform. I started Pia Threads/Pia’s Threads of Old in 2006 & made it a full time career in 2013.
Via my textiles I’ve met so many wonderful extremely creative people that share this passion.
I’ve enjoyed developing lovely relationships & have many repeat customers that I truly value & appreciate.
I’m excited to expand Pia Threads into the marvelous growing Etsy community.
