My love for Puerto Rico and Cross-Stitch
Puerto Rico is so much more than where I was born — it’s a magical part of who I am. Some of my happiest memories are wandering through Old San Juan, surrounded by pastel-colored buildings, intricate ironwork, sunlit balconies, and cobblestone streets that felt full of life and history.
I’ve always loved art and design, and cross-stitch became my way to slow down and create something meaningful with my hands. After years of designing character patterns, I felt a strong pull to put more of myself and my culture into my work. That’s when I began creating patterns inspired by the architecture I’ve loved for as long as I can remember. Each design is carefully built stitch by stitch, with thoughtful color choices that help me relive those memories and share them with others.
Now living in the Netherlands, these patterns have become my way of staying connected to Puerto Rico — celebrating its warmth, history, and unmistakable charm, one small hoop at a time.
