Hi, I'm Josh, the guy behind PrettyLilSheets 👋

I'm a Financial Mathematics student, and I started making spreadsheets because most of the templates I found were either American (401k, US tax) or looked lovely but didn't actually work anything out. So I made the ones I wanted: simple, tidy sheets that do the maths for you.

There's something for most parts of life: student budgets built around maintenance loan payments, a student loan calculator that tells you straight whether overpaying is worth it, take-home pay with this year's UK tax rules, plus planners for habits, the gym, revision, holidays, weddings and more.

Every sheet is built with the help of AI tools and then tested by me: every formula, every chart, and what happens when cells are left blank. Formulas are locked so nothing breaks by accident, and each one comes with a picture guide for Excel and free Google Sheets.
