Hi, we’re Fio and Flor, the two friends behind Pulsar. Fio paints the things most people walk past: a kitchen after lunch, a friend pouring wine, a dog waiting on the sidewalk, an old café. Those small, ordinary scenes are where she finds the most beauty.
Every piece starts on paper. She sketches in ink, paints with watercolor and lets the colors bleed a little, because that’s what makes them feel alive. Then we scan each painting at high resolution so you can print it at home and bring a little of that warmth into your own space.
Many of the paintings come from Buenos Aires: the old wooden subway cars, the colectivos, vermouth and soda at the corner bar, the plazas of Palermo. Others are kitchens and rooms belonging to people we love. Some are about things we believe in, like public education and public healthcare.
Thank you for being here and for supporting independent art. If you have a question or want help choosing a print, send us a message. We’d love to hear from you.
