How Pulse By Patsy was born.
As a healthcare professional, Patricia spent countless hours caring for patients, often sacrificing our own comfort and well-being. She quickly realized that while nursing was an incredibly rewarding career, it also came with its own set of unique challenges—physically, mentally, and emotionally. During long shifts, we found that the one thing that always brought us joy was a simple act: wearing a t-shirt or accessory that expressed who we are—not just as nurses, but as individuals.
But here’s the problem: every time we searched for nursing-themed products that spoke to us, the options were limited. The few designs available lacked creativity, humor, or even style. We wanted something more—something that truly represented the strength, resilience, and humor that nurses carry with them every day. We were craving something that not only reflected our profession but also our personalities.
That’s when it hit us—if we couldn’t find what we were looking for, why not create it ourselves?
And so, Pulse by Patsy was born. Our mission was simple: to create fun, stylish, and relatable nurse-themed t-shirts and products that nurses could wear with pride both on and off shift. We wanted to give our fellow nurses a way to express themselves, while also honoring the essential role they play in healthcare.
But we didn’t stop at t-shirts. We decided to push the boundaries with our Nurse Ninja brand, bringing to life a powerful, badass character who embodies the spirit of every nurse: strong, compassionate, and always ready to take on any challenge. Nurse Ninja became more than just a brand—it became a symbol of the healthcare warrior in each of us, representing nurses who tackle every day with courage, precision, and heart.
Pulse by Patsy isn’t just about clothing; it’s about community. We create designs that speak directly to nurses, acknowledging the long hours, the hard work, and yes, even the humor that comes with the job. From quirky slogans to motivational quotes, we are here to celebrate the nursing profession with products that resonate with the men and women who keep our healthcare system running.
What started as a passion project to fill a gap in the market quickly turned into a movement—a way for nurses to showcase their pride and strength. Pulse by Patsy and Nurse Ninja are here for nurses, by nurses, with the understanding that nursing is not just a job, it’s a lifestyle.
