From Papier-Mâché Experiments to Quirkkin
Quirkkin started with a simple idea: handmade things don’t have to be perfect to have character.
We began making papier-mâché pieces for ourselves, experimenting with shapes, textures, colors and everyday objects. What started as a creative hobby gradually turned into a growing collection of quirky cats, animals, decorative planters and small ornaments.
We especially loved the fact that every piece came out a little different. A crooked whisker, an uneven surface or an unexpected expression could give a character its own personality. Instead of trying to remove these little imperfections, they became part of our style.
Today, Quirkkin is our small handmade workshop in Serbia. Every piece is shaped, textured and painted by hand, and we continue to experiment with new characters and designs.
Our planters combine a handmade papier-mâché exterior with a practical plastic pot inside, so they can be used with real plants while keeping the textured handmade look.
We make figurines, sculptural planters, seasonal ornaments and custom pieces inspired by your photos. Because everything is handmade, no two Quirkkin pieces are exactly alike.
Small imperfections. Big character.
Welcome to Quirkkin.
