5 out of 5 starsThe item is very soft and well-made—a very clever solution for bonding with your small animal. One thing to keep in mind… I bought it for a mouse who loves to run all over me. But because my mouse is very light, her weight doesn’t pull the scarf down at all, which makes it sit somewhat awkwardly around my neck. So, I wouldn’t recommend it for a mouse. With that said, it won’t be wasted in my case—because it’s so soft I’ll utilize it as a nesting material for one of her hiding places.

Why Can't I accept returns for toys/cage items?
I can't guarantee the toys haven't been exposed to other rats and to keep my rats and customers safe, I can't accept returns.
Is the Corn in your Shunamite mix safe?
The corn in my Shunamite mix is human grade popping corn. It's perfectly safe for your rats to eat as it is processed differently than pet grade corn so no risk of mold. And no need to toss it out!
Are your toys safe?
I source my supplies with careful research. All paints are non-toxic, making them safe for children and pets, All woods are safe woods, And all paper items, are non-toxic, or food-grade items.
Rats do not ingest what they chew unless it tastes like food. They even have these super cool flaps in the back of their throats to prevent them from accidentally swallowing things they chew on. You may not see it, but they grind things tiny and spit it out.
I pick non-toxic plastics, just in case though. :)
All toys are variants of things I have made for my rats over the years and are well received.
So you can rest assured they are safe for your babies!
Do you make your own toys?
All toys are handmade by me in my rat room. I buy the materials and hand craft each item myself. Nothing is resold, or drop shipped.
