Non-alcohol-infused tinctures can last up to 3 years when stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
What's the difference between the two bases?
Both base options offer the same potency and strength of herbal extract. We provide an alcohol and an alcohol-free option to accommodate customers who prefer to avoid alcohol or cannot consume it. Both extracts are equally effective. The alcohol-free base has a slightly thicker consistency and is naturally a bit sweeter than the alcohol base.
Can these herbal tinctures also used topically?
For topical use, we recommend the alcohol-free base, as it is gentler on the skin and helps prevent the dryness or irritation that can sometimes occur with alcohol-based extracts. The alcohol-free base is better suited for direct skin application or for blending into skincare products.
Do these tinctures need to be refrigerated?
Typically, refrigeration is not required, as our extracts are preserved naturally with either alcohol or glycerin. However, if you plan to keep the product for a year or longer after opening, we recommend refrigerating it to help maintain freshness, potency, and overall quality.
