My name is Saundra Dale Stark Bauman; I’m simply a mother seeking quite comfort and peace. I have always been a crafter. Out of necessity I started making my own soaps, creams and perfumes, as I have allergies to so many chemicals that it’s difficult to buy products over the counter. A normal everyday existence with my husband and 2 sons.
July 4th, 2014 my life forever changed. My son Christopher Martin was taken from us, due to a drunk and drug impaired driver. I lost my world and myself. I discovered the only place in my home that I felt safe and in control was in my sewing room, so like a mad woman I started sewing any idea that came to me. I don't know if those that encouraged me to open my shop realized why, I had become so obsessed, but with the encouragement to open Restless Inspiration, I realized I could do something that will help me and support a cause that would keep Christopher's memory. No profits are made Restless Inspiration, as I donate the proceeds to M.A.D.D. Mothers Against Drunk Driving in Christopher's name. So his candle is always burning and his memory will never fade.
