Hey — we're Matt, Debi, and Grizzly.
We're weekend warriors with a fifth wheel — out as often as we can manage, home for the in-between, and somewhere on the road by Friday afternoon when the calendar lets us. The rig is a 2021 Alliance Paradigm 310RL pulled by a RAM 3500. Grizzly is the 110-lb Great Pyrenees mix who runs the place.
Together we make Rolling with the Curves — a YouTube channel and newsletter about real RV travel for people who'd rather pack the rig than the airport.
We've stayed at a lot of state parks. Forgotten most of the campsite numbers. Forgotten which trail was actually the good one. Forgotten what we paid. So we did what every overthinking weekend RVer eventually does — we built a planner. A real one. With the homework done.
Every "RV planner" we ever tried was either a blank template that wanted us to do the work, or a generic travel journal that didn't know what a fifth wheel was. Neither one helped at 6 a.m. on a long-weekend Friday when we were trying to remember if the propane was off before we hitched up.
So we wrote our own. Then we pre-filled all 50 states with the RV-friendly state parks worth driving to. Added a pre-trip rig checklist we actually use. A fuel + mileage log. A page for the dog. A budget tracker with real numbers instead of vague "expenses" boxes. A spread for every park you stay in.
That's what you're buying. A 109-page planner we built for ourselves first — by weekend warriors, for weekend warriors. Full-timers and snowbirds use it too, but our heart is in the long-weekend crowd that nobody else writes for.
Print version + fillable iPad version, both included. Print what you'll actually use, write on it in pencil, type the rest on your tablet at the campsite. If a page doesn't fit how YOU travel — cross it out, write your own. It's a planner, not a rulebook.
