I'm Amanda, a high school science teacher, Teacher Cadet instructor, and Ed.D. candidate living in South Carolina. By day, I help students learn about the world around them and support future educators as they begin their own teaching journeys. By night, you'll usually find me creating resources, designing products, working on my doctorate, or trying to keep up with the beautiful chaos of life as a stepmom.
Rooted Into Growth began several years ago as a passion project between my best friend, Olivia, and me. Together, we created social-emotional learning resources for middle and high school students because we believed that learning extends far beyond academics. While life eventually led us in different professional directions, the mission behind Rooted Into Growth never disappeared.
Today, Rooted Into Growth is a reflection of the things I care about most: education, creativity, organization, personal growth, and building meaningful connections. From classroom-inspired resources and decor to planners, journals, gifts, and creative products, everything in this shop is designed with purpose and created with care.
As a teacher, I know how important it is to find products that are both practical and beautiful. My goal is to create items that inspire growth, spark creativity, and make everyday life just a little easier.
