Roxford Carpentry is a small woodworking shop in Jacksonville, Florida. We build custom built-ins and cabinetry, and we cut a lot of textured panels along the way.
These files grew out of that work. Some started as hand finishes: hammered, adzed, riven, gouged. Others come from nature: wind-cut snow, cracked clay, coral, charred cedar, basalt. Each one is drawn so it can't look like a stock pattern, and shaped so a ball-nose bit can cut every detail. Every download includes everything you need to cut it: the full STL, high-resolution heightmaps, a 12 × 12 in test tile and a cut sheet with a suggested bit and settings. The settings are calculated starting points, so cut the test tile on scrap first and adjust for your machine. Questions about a file or your setup? Send a message. A real woodworker answers.
