Our Story – From Loom to Room
My name is Saif Ansari, and I am proud to continue my family’s legacy in handmade rug making. I hail from Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, the carpet capital of India, where my family has been crafting rugs for over 30 years.
Growing up, I learned the art from my father, my inspiration, who always sought to create rugs that were both unique and timeless. From a young age, I assisted in the workshop, developing a deep respect for handcrafted quality, attention to detail, and tradition.
When our journey began at the loom, what started as humble weaving work within our family grew through years of dedication, challenges, and relentless hard work. Our early years were not easy—limited resources, long hours, and learning through experience shaped who we are today. Each challenge strengthened our commitment to craftsmanship, patience, and quality, values that continue to guide us.
Over the years, our workshop has evolved into a space where tradition meets innovation, allowing us to craft rugs that are not only functional but also expressive pieces of art. Every rug carries the story of hands that have honed their skill over decades and the heritage of a craft passed down through generations.
Today, I focus on creating hand-tufted rugs that blend artistry with modern design, bringing warmth, elegance, and meaningful stories of craftsmanship into homes around the world. Each rug is more than decor—it is a piece of heritage, woven with care, passion, and heart.
