Painterly Realism by a Texas based Artist
Me inspira la danza esquiva entre la luz y la sombra. Me encantan los colores brillantes y el contraste audaz de los monocromos y utiliza una variedad de medios, incluidos óleos WS, pasteles suaves, acuarelas y medios de dibujo.

I am inspired by the elusive dance between light and shadow. I love bright colors and the bold contrast of monochromes and uses a variety of mediums, including WS oils, soft pastels, watercolors and drawings mediums.
My choice of subjects comes from my personal ideas about beauty and those subjects that stir my soul. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to discover the beauty of the world around them and to create excitement, curiosity and even evoke recollections from the viewer.
My painterly realism style tries to an interesting balance between impressionism and realism. I enjoy painting both in the studio and en plein air (outdoors).
I am a Texas based artist and currently a member of the Oil Painters of America and the Outdoor Painter's Society.
