Angela Dooley (or Angie) is a proud mom to 2 grown kiddos. She’s been married to her best friend, Chris, for over 30 years and is a Gimmy to her 2 adorable grandsons.
Like so many, Angie was taught to crochet by her aunt at a very young age. She learned the basics and immediately had a strong desire to fine tune her new skill and expand her crochet knowledge.
In her 20’s, when she found out she was pregnant with her first child, all she wanted to do was crochet. So, she went out and bought new hooks, as many pattern books as she could find (internet didn’t exist yet) and she started making anything and everything for babies that she could find a pattern for.
Although Angie has been crocheting for over 40 years she is new to the world of crochet design. She released 9 patterns in her first year as a designer starting with her SASSy Sweetheart Earring pattern.
Her most recent pattern, the Daisy Wine Bottle Cozy, was released in August 2022. Like most of Angie’s designs this pattern is full of texture but, easy enough for advanced beginners and works up very quickly.

Angie aims to design patterns that are easy yet trendy! Her pattern designs range from earrings to home decor items like coasters and of course wearables such as scarves.
