Our Story
Safaa’s Light was born from friendship, care, and the belief that small, intentional acts can create real impact.
This candle company was inspired by Safaa, a close friend living in Gaza, and by a desire to find a sustainable way to support her and her family over time. What began as a personal effort grew into a small business rooted in compassion, creativity, and purpose.
Each candle is thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches using a variety of high-quality waxes chosen specifically for different candle styles and designs. I work primarily with coconut and soy-based blends for clean, beautiful burns, and I never use paraffin wax. When possible, I incorporate repurposed or upcycled vessels and materials, choosing processes that reduce waste and extend the life of beautiful objects.
Safaa’s Light is a woman-owned, LGBTQ+ inclusive small business that believes creativity can be a form of care. This shop exists to create warmth, connection, and support, both through handmade goods and through meaningful impact.
Proceeds from this shop directly support Safaa and her family, helping provide continued aid through something sustainable and intentional.
